Trinity Centre Easter Egg Appeal 2017

A Cracking Finish to the Trinity Centre Easter Egg Appeal!

The Trinity Centre launched their seventeenth annual Easter Egg Appeal this year, another year another egg-cellent result! With the continuous support from shoppers, local businesses and contractors this year the centre has collected a cracking 4,188 eggs, almost in line with last year’s 4,294 total!

Since 2000 the centre has distributed over 45,780 eggs to over 50 worthwhile children’s organisations, charities, hospitals and family centres in Aberdeen.

General Manager, Linda Stewart and The rest of the Trinity Team would like to thank every single customer that donated a chocolate egg at our drop off point on the mall or down at our reception, you have helped make a difference to a child this Easter.

Linda commented,

“We are delighted with the response that the appeal has attracted. We have developed a strong relationship with our shoppers along with local and national companies that have offered there continuous support throughout the years. It makes all the hard work worthwhile when you get to see how happy the children are when they receive their egg.”

During the appeal ‘Giddy’ The Trinity Centre Mascot delivers some Easter cheer to children at the Balnagask Community Centre which helped children from the Junior Kids Clubs, Mother and Toddler groups as well as some vulnerable groups. Hazel McAllan, Chairperson said,

“We are so grateful for The Trinity Centre for their continued support over the past three years. Without support from local businesses we would struggle to provide as we are run by volunteers and raise most of the money ourselves.”

The Trinity Centre would also like to pass on a heartfelt thank you to Asda who organised the order of Easter Eggs, they also kindly donated extra eggs to our cause making every egg count.
